Backtagging: Of course! I'm a grad student and slow as molasses myself, so backtags are great.
Threadhopping: If it makes IC sense, go for it.
Fourthwalling: I'd prefer to keep it vague- "I saw a character like you on tv" rather than "wow you're fictional." Pointing out how absurd her life/universe is is encouraged, however.
Offensive subjects: I don't have any particular triggers. If you do, just let me know- either here or by pming me.

Hugging this character: Go for it. It may be awkward but that's hilarious.
Kissing this character: Fine by me. Proceed at your own risk.
Flirting with this character: A-okay. She might even flirt back.
Fighting with this character: Definitely. Occupational hazard.
Injuring this character: I'd like to avoid anything permanent, but otherwise totally fine. Plot with me for more serious things, though.
Killing this character: Plot with me. I won't say 'never,' but I wouldn't do it lightly either.

Warnings: Xena is mostly a goofy show, so I don't expect to delve deeply into this with any amount of realism, but it's vital to the canon and there is a strong possibility that it will come up.
Mass Killing/Horror of war: Xena was called "Xena: Destroyer of Nations" for a reason. She was a brutal warlord and the canon is pretty clear that her death toll is enormous. She deeply regrets this and it's a huge part of her current motivations.
Gross battlefield medicine is also something that comes up fairly often in the canon.
If you need me to avoid either of these things, or keep them to a minimal level, just let me know.
